Colwyn Bay

Colwyn Bay has plenty to offer the holidaymaker. An enchanting and rugged coastline with spectacular views and good beaches make this a great place to spend some time outdoors.

This is a great place for fishing, sailing or jet skiing as well as for those that like hiking or exploring the coast. Colwyn Bay has a long promenade, an excellent harbour and plenty of good restaurants.

Colwyn Bay is close to the Isle of Anglesey and also within easy striking distance of Snowdonia. Llandudno is also nearby as is the walled town of Conwy and Conwy castle.

Popular attractions include the Victoria Pier and the Welsh Mountain Zoo. Unfortunately the pier has rather a chequered past and the current owner is at loggerheads with the council over the bankruptcy of the pier and lack of support.
