Keswick

Keswick is one of the main tourist attractions in Cumbria. It is centrally placed but it is also near to Derwent Water which is one of the main lakes in the Lake District as well as being one of the most popular.

Keswick is without doubt a picturesque town with some wonderful traditional shops and good restaurants. Surrounded by lakes and mountain ranges this is a great place to get away from it all and put your feet up and relax. During the day visitors can take a stroll around the lake or venture out on more strenous walks and by evening experience the vibrant little town and all it has to offer.

Keswick is the home of the world's first graphite pencils and there is a pencil museum here at Keswick as well as the world's largest pencil.
