Manchester Gay Pride



The Manchester Gay Parade took place on Saturday 24th August. It is one of the oldest and most established gay pride events in the country. Although visitors to the city can watch the parade free of charge they do need a ticket or wristband for entry into the other events in the Gay Village area.


The big weekend events take place over a 72 hour period and include art, music and cultural activities. A wide variety of companies and organisations take part. This year the following companies, organisations and government bodies took part in the parade;
